The Pure Source 2 WF2CB is suitable for specific Frigidaire refrigerators. Look for our berry-colored design with the new Genuine Filters seal on the package to ensure the authenticity of your filter. Genuine Filters are the smarter, safer choice, offering fresh-tasting water with peace of mind.
The Pure Source 2 filter significantly reduces the presence of chlorine taste and odor, alachlor, atrazine, cyst, 2, 4-D, lead, mercury, lindane, toxaphene, and turbidity in your water. Before installing and using the system, review the Frigidaire Refrigerator Use and Care Guide.
To install the filter, follow these steps: 1. Push the release button to remove the current filter and discard it. 2. Slide the new filter in until it clicks into place. 3. Run water through the dispenser for approximately 3 minutes, or 1.5 gallons, to prime the filter before use. Discard the water. 4. Replace the filter every 6 months or 200 gallons (757 liters), whichever comes first.

Remember, your refrigerator's reminder light does not turn off automatically. To reset the status, press and hold the water filter button on the dispenser control for 3 seconds. When the display changes from red to green, the status has been reset.
